just dropped off this new 10x10 work at carclew, the auction is tomorrow night.
it is the first all acrylic painting i have done in ages and i've got a few more on the way. the paint is less elastic than oils and dries so quicklly, so you can't mix on the canvas or work wet on wet. i think it is almost as good as an oil painting.
it is based on a detail from 'standing by', the feature painting the melbourne show earlier this year. (see below)
